Ms. Castillo is registered to practice before the USPTO and has worked in the industry since 1999.  Ms. Castillo holds a Master of Science degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University.

Ms. Castillo has previously worked as a patent agent in the chemical and life sciences group within Birch, Stewart, Kolasch, & Birch, LLP and as a biologist for the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC).
